The Dharriwaa Country Music Band Dharriwaa Elders Neville Beale and Richard Lake, with brother Victor Beale. All members of the band have been in other bands before. Neville recorded with Archie Walford and has often played solo in Singleton venues. His brother Victor is a guitar hero who has played in many bands including the famous Dreamtime and Kracked Rock. Richard once played with Tommy Emmanuel at a Barraba party and sang on the Stan Costa show in Barraba.
The men decided they wanted to perform country guitar music, including lots of the late, great Slim Dusty's music. They practiced up and then decided to go public, asking the Dharriwaa Elders Group permission to use the word "Dharriwaa" in their name.
