Acclaimed artist Reko Rennie returned to Walgett October 2018 to develop a new project for Dharriwaa Elders Group. DEG was pleased to facilitate some reunions with his Walgett mob and discovered his many family relationships with DEG Elders. It was also great to discover that high school art students who we invited to meet Reko and learn of his work and the project, were already studying Reko's work! While in Walgett Reko also visited mob and the Men's art group - some who joined Elders for lunch and project discussion.
